Australians generally have reasonable levels of satisfaction with most aspects of working life. Almost 70 per cent of people were satisfied (very or somewhat) with basic conditions in the workplace.

While most Australians are satisfied at work, over one-quarter of Australians are dissatisfied with their current levels of pay and opportunities for career progression. People in the most insecure forms of work have the lowest levels of job satisfaction.
