Event Overview

As stated in the Government’s Modern Manufacturing Strategy “Manufacturing contributes about six per cent of Australia's GDP and supports 862,200 jobs. It also punches above its weight in its contribution to R&D and is a growing contributor to our exports.”

Join Dr Goennemann to discuss future opportunities in the manufacturing industry and examine:
  • How Australia’s manufacturing industry stood up during COVID-19 and proved to be resilient and robust.
  • Why a focus on manufacturing capability is crucial to a healthy industry and to the national economy.
  • Why adding value and focussing on quality are the keys to Australia’s manufacturing future.
  • How manufacturing can drive Australia’s transition from a lucky country to a smart country.
