Michael Barnes, Under Treasurer, WA Department of Treasury

Event Overview

COVID-19 has impacted our national and state economies in various ways, some that may still be emerging.

Western Australia’s 2020-21 budget indicated that the response to the pandemic has positioned the State’s economy to rebound faster and stronger than expected, but what are the opportunities and implications of the 2021 Federal Budget on the State’s recovery?

Join WA Under Treasurer, Michael Barnes, for an update on the State’s economic outlook, an examination of the impacts of the Federal Budget, and the policy priorities and key drivers of recovery.

This briefing is by invitation only to CEDA Trustees. Trustees are senior leaders nominated by CEDA member organisations. At CEDA boardroom briefings Trustees hear from an informed, expert guest speaker in a private, small group setting. Invitations to boardroom briefings are a valued benefit of CEDA membership. Chatham House Rule applies.
