Event Overview

COVID-19 has impacted our national and state economies in various ways, some that may still be emerging.

Following the Federal Budget announcement in May, and the Queensland State Budget in June, what are the opportunities and implications for the State’s recovery and how can business help drive the recovery? Which sectors have weathered the impact of the pandemic, and which sectors will benefit from Government support over the year ahead?

Join Queensland Under Treasurer, Leon Allen, for an update on the State’s economic outlook, an examination of the impacts of the Federal Budget, and the policy priorities and key drivers of the COVID recovery.

This briefing is by invitation only to CEDA Trustees. Trustees are senior leaders nominated by CEDA member organisations. At CEDA boardroom briefings Trustees hear from an informed, expert guest speaker in a private, small group setting. Invitations to boardroom briefings are a valued benefit of CEDA membership. Chatham House Rule applies.
