Interactive livestream events: FAQ

CEDA's Interactive Livestream digital program sees speakers from across Australia come together to discuss the critical issues for Australia's economic, social and environmental development.

How can I register for an interactive livestream?
If you are familiar with registering for CEDA events, the process is the similar.
To watch the interactive livestream, simply select the required registration option (for example single ticket registration) and fill out the registration form. For CEDA Members these events are complimentary. However, you do still need to register.

Once you have completed the registration, you will receive a confirmation email with a link to the locked livestream page. You will automatically be logged in. If you are not logged in, you will not be able to access the livestream. If you need assistance with your login, please contact CEDA.

How do I watch the interactive livestream?
Following your registration, you will receive a confirmation email which has a link directly to the livestream. You will also receive a reminder email  prior to the livestream which also has this link. To be able to access the livestream you need to be logged in. Using these links provided will automatically take you to the livestream page without the need to login.

Can I register a corporate table for this interactive livestream?
CEDA’s interactive livestream in a new format for CEDA and to be able to view the livestream you need to be logged in, using a registered email address. If you would like to register a large group of people, please contact CEDA with the names and email addresses of each guest. CEDA will register these guests on your behalf and send you an invoice. Once we have registered the participants, we will let you know. Each guest will receive a reminder email on the day of the livestream with details of how to login and watch the livestream.

I have registered to watch the interactive livestream and I’m landing on an Access Denied page.
Please find the confirmation or reminder email you would have received following your registration and ahead of the livestream. Using the link in those emails will automatically log you in, ensure you can access the livestream and will direct you to the correct livestream page.

I’m a CEDA member, do I still have to register?
Yes. Please register for the livestream to gain free access to watch the livestream – only then will you receive access via an email with a livestream link. Registering also ensures you receive the livestream recording if you can no longer tune in.

I’m no longer able to watch the livestream.
CEDA’s livestream are recorded and if you have registered will be sent to you shortly after the event and ahead of the general public. Substitution names can be made any time. Please contact the relevant Event Coordinator (found in the contact section of the event) to provide a substitution name.

I have a question for a speaker. How do I ask my question?
CEDA’s livestreams are interactive and each livestream has a specific Q&A portal you can join to ask your questions. The Q&A portal is located on the livestream page, which is in your registration confirmation or reminder email. In the Q&A portal you can also vote on other questions, participate in polling and more.
