2008 Tax Policy Directions Forum - Key tax policy issues for 2008 and beyond Over the last 25 years, Australia has experienced ongoing and important tax reforms. However, there remains more to achieve and both newly emerging and strengthening pressures point towards a need for renewed reform and policy directions.Following the recent change of Federal Government, CEDA and the Australia Tax Research Foundation (ATRF) are jointly convening a high-level tax policy directions forum to examine key policy choices for taxation system reform required to strengthen the nation’s economic development.
