CEDA is saddened to hear of the passing of long time CEDA supporter Sir Eric McClintock AO, aged 99.
CEDA Chief Executive, Melinda Cilento said Sir Eric is the father of current CEDA Chairman, Paul McClintock AO.
“We pass on our sincerest condolences to Paul and his family.
Ms Cilento said Sir Eric was a Trustee of CEDA for many years and was an active supporter of CEDA over many decades.
“He became involved with CEDA during its inception and establishment in 1960, and served on CEDA’s Executive Committee from the mid-60s alongside CEDA founder and then Chairman Sir Douglas Copland."
Sir Eric was a senior public servant and went on to serve on various Boards, most notably as Chairman of Woolworths from 1980-87.
